A combination of two classic alternative printing techniques, the complementary color palette of cyanotype blue and palladium brown offer images with beautiful depth. Prints are made in a multi-step process of coating paper with a sensitized base of palladium metal and iron salts, UV light exposure with a digital negative, and development in a series of acidic baths. A second coat is made in a similar method using traditional cyanotype chemicals.
